The Impreza P1 was created through the cooperation of Subaru and Prodrive, who was in charge of the Impreza WRC cars at the time. In response to mass imports of special edition Impreza variants to the UK market, the P1 was commissioned as a bespoke limited edition that would be type-approved for the European market.

Just 1,000 examples of the special 2-door Impreza P1 were produced, with all customer cars being finished in the iconic shade of Sonic Blue. Using the WRX STi Type R as the starting point, Prodrive engineers used expertise from the Rally world to create a car that was most suited to UK roads. This included ECU upgrades, firmer springs and shock absorbers and ABS. Further upgrades included anthracite OZ Racing wheels and small aero improvements to the front and rear of the vehicle.

This 2000 Impreza P1 is one of the finest examples available on the market today; one that has enjoyed extensive recent mechanical expenditure and presents in very good condition in all areas. The car sits with just 4 former keepers, is complete with its original bookpack and also enjoys an extensive history file that is testament to the condition of the vehicle.
